This Summer Term Year One are spending time learning how to edit their work, as means to improve it. Using green pen to correct our mistakes, we are now writing several drafts of pieces of writing, creating clear learning journeys evidenced in these pieces of work. We are also very much enjoying 'Share a Book Friday', where we spend the final part of Friday afternoon's celebrating all things Reading!
For our writing project, we were so inspired by Roald Dahl's 'The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me' short story, that we decided to write our own! If you would like to read the book that inspired us so much click here.
