Tim Peake Primary Project

This year we have had so much fun following Tim Peake's mission at the International Space Station and learnt so much.

This is a video showing some of the activities:

Poetry Week

Joshua spent the day with us.  He helped us to think about the different ways we can experiment with words and showed us how exciting poetry could sound.

Acrostic Poems with Year 3 and Joshua Idehen

Year 5 Created Quite a Buzz

...when 00 Buzz took a fly by!

They collaborated on a Poem called 'The Adventures of Bee Bond'.  It's a witty, action packed poem, with a tragic ending!    Read the beautifully published version by Faiza below.

Science Week

During our science Fair we demonstrated all the investigations we had been doing into Forces.

We were visited by the local Mayor Theresa Debono.

We Celebrated World Book Day in March

Many children wore great costumes of their favourite book character.

We read the brilliant new books with children from different classes.

Even the teachers dressed up!  Which characters can you spot?

We raised money for Book Aid who help with literacy in Africa.

Year 3 have been looking at and making cave paintings.

Year 1 have been writing and making pictures about aliens.

Matisse cut-outs inspired this display of art work based around the study of fruits by Year 3.
