The theme this year is Planet Earth. We are thinking about how we can look after our planet and protect the animals and plant species on it. We will be looking at the impact of global warming and our use of materials like plastic, which cannot easily be recycled.
Science Week Competition
This year’s theme will be encouraging people to reuse and recycle. We are challenging children to make a hat, or a piece of clothing out of junk, which encourages people to recycle. Entries need to be in school for Thursday morning (Thursday 15th March) and all entries will be on display on Friday for you to see, including the winners.
Family Science Session – Tuesday 13th March 5.30pm – 6.30pm
There will be a family science session with different fun activities to get involved in as a family on Tuesday evening. If you would like to come, please fill in the slip that came home with your child.
School Science Museum – Friday 16th March 9:30 am – 11am
You are invited to come and see what the children have learnt about on Friday morning, when we turn the whole school into a science museum.
