Last week we were lucky enough to have rare samples of rocks from the Moon in school. The rocks belong to NASA and were brought back to Earth by the Apollo missions in the 1970s. In addition, we had different meteorites from the Natural History Museum. These included one from Mars, one that was 150 million years older than our planet Earth, and several that were formed at about the same time as Earth!
