Preparing resilient learners in an ever changing world
'Vittoria Primary School is a happy place.' 'Pupils talk confidently and positively about the school.' Staff have high expectations for every pupil.' Leaders have made sure a broad curriculum is in place across the school.'OFSTED Oct 2021

The PTA is a group of parents and teachers who come together as a registered charity to raise funds for different projects here at our school. Summer fairs are our biggest fund raisers organised by the P.T.A.

In the past our summer fairs have been a great success resulting in us being able to buy the picnic tables outside classes 1 to 6, stage equipment, books for the library, playground equipment, extra P.E equipment as well as trips for the children and much more!

Any future PTA events are highlighted on the school calendar in yellow.

There is a PTA information leaflet available in the reception area for anyone who would like more information.

Please speak to the chair of the PTA Natalie Mountjoy if you are interested in joining our PTA or can help in any other way.

International Evening

International evening is where parents bring in and share foods from their homes and cultures. We all get the chance to share and try something new and different. We had some lovely dishes shared this year. Children also shared their dresses and clothes from their countries and even put on a fashion show for us! We had some beautiful henna and face painting going on too.

Thank you so everyone who supported the event it was a fantastic evening that was enjoyed by everyone!

We had a fabulous time celebrating different countries and cultures.

 Christmas Fair 2017

This year's Christmas fair was again a wonderful celebration enjoyed by all.  We had some great support again for our raffle prizes and want to say a massive thank you to The Pig and Butcher, Waitrose, AJ's,the party people, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, John's, the barber and all the parents who donated prizes and cakes for our cake stall. We really do appreciate everyone's help for these events without you it would not be possible.

We managed to make just over £500 which is amazing! This will be going into our fund for the nursery playground.

In May 2017 the P.T.A set up a story competition for the children and parents with the aim of making our very own story book. With the help of everyone involved we managed to get all the stories entered made into a small book and started selling our book in July (Please ask in the school office if you would like a copy). In October 2017 we entered our book in a competition at the British library as we had used a few of their online illustrations in our book and we won! We won £500 towards our P.T.A fund which is amazing.

Here are some pictures of us winning the award at The British Library

2017 Events

Our Second international evening was again a wonderful success. Our parents really are amazing! The food was wonderful and everyone who attends has the best time eating all the different foods from different cultures. We are already looking forward to next year!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped to make our Summer Fair successful. It was our first attempt at a week day Summer Fair and we are happy to announce we have managed to make just over £1200. We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the companies and local businesses that made a donation for our raffle prizes. Thank you again to The Pig and Butcher, Sainsburys, Tesco, Marks and Spencers, The Dallas Burger Bar, Sunflour Bakery, Sadlers Wells, Maria’s mobile beauty, VUE Angel, Bodens, AJ's the party people and all the parents that kindly made donations for the raffle and tombola. We would not be able to have these events without your continued support.

The money we have raised will be going towards a project to revitalise the nursery playground! Watch this space for updates

2016 Events

International Evening was a massive success this year our parents/carers are amazing we had so many different foods from so many different backgrounds and everyone enjoyed the food and company. We will be making sure this becomes an annual event run by the P.T.A.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Summer Fair 2016. After all the final sales of produce and adding up our profits we made £1,665 for PTA funds. We have decided to set up a project to revitalise the nursery playground, it is going to be a long process which will be done in stages for which we will keep you updated as and when things are being done.

Our Christmas fair was also a great success where we managed to raise £680.

We have been working with the school council and with their input we have used some of the funds raised to get new games for all the class rooms wet play boxes as well as new goals for when they play football at lunch time.
