Preparing resilient learners in an ever changing world
'Vittoria Primary School is a happy place.' 'Pupils talk confidently and positively about the school.' Staff have high expectations for every pupil.' Leaders have made sure a broad curriculum is in place across the school.'OFSTED Oct 2021

Good morning Year 5, I am missing you all!

I hope you have had a lovely Easter holiday, even though it will have perhaps been different to usual.  I hope you enjoyed lots of chocolate!  My family did not share enough with me…..!

This week, we are all celebrating 'Kindness Week' across the whole school! Things can feel a little uncertain and even overwhelming at this current time. But, during these difficult times, one thing is clear: small acts of kindness make a big difference. We can play a massive role in this too by learning about and carrying out kind acts. There are different sets of kindness activities I will post throughout the week.

In addition, I will also be setting out daily SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar), maths as well as weekly Science, Reading, Writing and various topic work on Google Classroom. Do look very closely at the due date for each of those task.

I would expect you to be doing your maths/English in the morning and then more practical activities in the afternoon (exercise/playing/craft/baking/experiments/research etc. etc.), but I fully appreciate that you need to organise your days as you see fit.

Keep in touch as always and I look forward to hearing from you.
