Year 3
Welcome to Central Class!
Welcome to Year 3, in this year group we have Mrs Lasubulu as the teacher and the teaching assistants across the phrase are Mrs Ayre and Mr Mesic. We are all thrilled to have you and your child in our year 3 class where we have countless opportunities for learning and growth.
Reading record
We are keen on developing our growing minds and creating a lifelong passion for reading so we ask that the reading record should be updated daily by the adults and children bring it back to school on Fridays to be checked in. Reading for pleasure is a passion that I enjoy and will love to help our young mind develop this wonderful habit as well.
Homework
Homework will be sent home on Thursdays or Fridays and are expected back in on Tuesdays. Spelling tests are held every Friday, please help your child to practise their spelling throughout the week as they do not need to return the spelling sheet with the homework.
PE
We have P.E. every Friday morning (outdoor) and Friday afternoon(indoor). Please ensure that your child comes in their correct kit on Fridays. Kit should include plain white or school PE t-shirt, school jumper (or purple hooded cardigan), tracksuit bottoms or shorts and trainers and a bottle of water.
