Year 1

Welcome to Jubilee Class!

The Year 1 teacher is Mr Bodle and the Teaching Assistants are Ms Denise, Ms Harris and Ms Tola.

Reading record

Children in KS1 should read with a parent/carer for at least 10 minutes every day. Please ensure signed reading records are returned on Tuesday. They will be sent out with new reading books on Thursday. 

Homework

Homework in Year 1 is given out on a Thursday and returned on Tuesday (unless stated otherwise in special circumstances). Please make sure your child brings their homework in on time, as it is beneficial to our learning at the time. In addition, please ensure your child learns their spelling list for the week as there is a weekly spelling test.

P.E

We have P.E. every Monday (afternoon) and Friday (morning) so please ensure that your child brings their correct kit on these days. Kit should include school P.E. t-shirt, school jumper, tracksuit bottoms or shorts and trainers.
